During the period September 2022 - February 2023, Bulgaria's import of sunflowers from Ukraine reached a record 429 thousand tons. With this volume of imports, our country ranks first in the European Union, with Romania in second place - with 406 thousand tons. According to the data published by the Ukrainian analytical agency "APK-Inform", the quantities imported by the two Balkan countries represent 54 percent of the total import of the Ukrainian oilseed crop in all EuroUnion member countries.
