(NAP) Activity grew compared to February and production rose 3.3% year-on-year. However, the accumulated first quarter showed a drop both in work and in the volume produced. Cattle slaughter showed a recovery in March compared to the previous month and left a greater dynamism for the refrigerated meat industry. According to the report by the Argentine Meat Exporters Consortium ABC, approximately 1,029 million heads were processed during the third month of the year, with a monthly increase of 11.2% compared to February. About 243.3 thousand tons equivalent carcass weight with bone were obtained in March, which implied an increase of 12.2% compared to February and a rise of 3.3% compared to the same month in 2025. However, the rebound in March was not enough to reverse the trend of the quarter.
