The article reports on the current situation of fruit and vegetable prices in Italy, as reported by Bmti surveys. It highlights stable prices for citrus fruits, tomatoes, apples, and pears, with the exception of Rome's square where Rome's square oranges are becoming more expensive. On the other hand, cauliflower prices are surging due to harvesting difficulties and increased demand. Despite increased production, clementine prices are stable with some increases in Bergamo. Lettuce prices are also on the rise, especially in Rome, due to local climatic conditions and slightly increased demand. A significant price increase is also observed in aubergines due to reduced investments in greenhouse products. Finally, the article assures that apple prices are expected to remain stable until the beginning of next year, and tomato prices are also stable with a decline in supply leading to high prices.
