Chilean blueberry producers are expanding their crops, leading to an increase in the cultivation area to over 18,000 ha. The US is the primary market for Chilean fresh and frozen berries, receiving more than half of the exports. In the 2021/22 season, fresh blueberry exports saw a decrease of 9.0% due to lower production, while frozen blueberry exports increased by 12.4%.
