Chile: Volume and value of dried fruit exports contract

In this period, dried fruit mobilized 3,917 tons, equivalent to USD 22.18 million FOB, which translates into a contraction of 28.3% in volume and a decrease of 24.6% in value. The main product exported in terms of value is shelled walnuts, which register sales of 1,730 tons and USD 11.6 million FOB, representing 52% of the total value of dried fruit shipments. The main destination was France (21%), Brazil (14%), the Netherlands (13%) and Ecuador (11%).
