China Food Industry Association: From January to August, national large-scale food industry enterprises achieved a profit of 41.94 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%

On October 17, the first National Food Industry Channel Summit, jointly hosted by the China Food Industry Association and the Organizing Committee of the National Sugar and Wine Commodity Fair, was held at the Nanjing International Expo Center. At the meeting, Zhang Jingyu, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Food Industry Association, released the "2025 China Food Trends White Paper," disclosing the economic operation and trends of the food industry from January to August 2025. Zhang Jingyu pointed out that from January to August 2025, the industrial added value of the food industry above designated size increased by 5.1% year-on-year, and the output of 11 out of 24 food industry products maintained positive growth.
