Piracicaba, 25 – Demand for fresh oranges has continued to weaken in recent days, as a result of the cold weather in the state of São Paulo. Even so, the low offer of precocious in this segment allowed a slight recovery in pear values, after four consecutive weeks of decline. In the period (21 to 25/06), the average of the fruit was R$ 32,01/box of 40.8 kg, on the tree, an increase of 1.2% compared to the previous week. Limited purchases also extend to the murcote tangor, which began harvesting in the second half of the month. The values of this week closed at R$ 41.10/box of 40.8 kg, in the tree, a drop of 12.5% in relation to the previous one.
