Competition in Morocco's wheat market is intensifying from France.

France is a key supplier of wheat to Morocco, annually holding around 40-50% of the market. In the 2024/25 season, amid a reduction in the gross harvest, France shipped only 1.5 million tons (including flour and groats) to Morocco, which is 1.3 million tons less than in 2023/24. However, FranceAgriMer estimates that in the current season, the crop yield in France will be 33.3 million tons (+7.7 million tons compared to 2024/25), which is expected to increase the country's export potential.
