This infrastructure represents a new step in consolidating capabilities for high-quality cacao marketing. This initiative was developed with non-reimbursable funds from the ProCompite Program (Productive Competitiveness Support Initiatives Program) of the San Martín Regional Agricultural Directorate (DRASAM), and co-financing from the Allima Cacao Agricultural Cooperative, with the objective of strengthening productive business plans in the territory. In complement, the Cacao BioAndino II Project implemented a quality control laboratory, as well as actions to strengthen commercial management, within the framework of the project "Support for sustainability, traceability, and marketing of the organic, fine aroma, and fair trade cacao sector in Colombia, Ecuador and Peru", financed by AFD - Agence Française de Développement, and executed by AVSF - Agronomists and Veterinarians Without Borders.
