In March 2023, Brazil has seen a significant increase in its unground corn exports, with a total of 1,139,989.1 tons exported in just 18 working days, a 7,983% increase from the previous year's total for the same month. The daily average of shipments also saw a notable increase, with 9,657.9% more than the second month of 2022. The National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec) estimates that 900,000 tonnes of cereal have been shipped in March, but expect lower volumes due to the soy harvest. So far, Brazil has collected a total of US$ 343.269 million for its corn exports in March, with a daily average of US$ 19.070 million, and the price per ton has decreased by 30.4% compared to the previous year.
