Customs confirms the continued collection of dumping duties on Dutch Edam and Gouda cheese

The Customs Authority issued Tariff Circular No. 40 of 2024 confirming the items subject to the dumping duty under Resolution 8/2022 for imports of Edam and Gouda cheese from the Netherlands. Ahmed Abu Al-Hassan, Head of the Central Administration for the Affairs of the Office of the Head of the Customs Authority, indicated in his speech to the Head of the Central Administration for Tariff, Value and Origin of the Authority, that it should be confirmed at the customs ports that the items subject to the anti-dumping duty in accordance with the Minister of Commerce’s Resolution No. 8 of 2022 are imports of the Edam cheese variety and of high quality.
