Shipments abroad of powdered milk and other dairy products also registered outstanding performance in the first six months of the year, even exceeding the totals of previous years and confirming the importance of diversifying destinations. Until last June 30, a sales volume of 3,775 tons was registered for USD 14,204,000 FOB value, which corresponds to the sale price of goods shipped to other countries, placed in the means of transport, not including insurance value and freight. Although this volume is not very high, it represents 131% more than what was achieved in the same period of 2020, with 1,634 tons, and revenues 139% higher than the USD 5,955,000 reached a year ago. In fact, this is the highest volume reported for the first half since 2009, when 10,837 tons were reached for USD 14,300,000, which means that, so far, 2021 is positioning itself with the sales record of the last 12 years.
