Dairy producers in Ukraine are gearing up for a market revival as students return to school, anticipating an increase in sales of milk, kefir, yogurt, sour cream, and cheese. In response, manufacturers are hiking up prices for these products. Currently, milk is being sold at 2.5% with prices ranging from 25.5-27.0 UAH per liter, kefir is priced at 2.5% with prices ranging from 29.0-31.5 UAH per liter, sour cream is sold at 15% with prices ranging from 67-72 UAH per kilogram, and cheese is available at 9% with prices ranging from 114-125 UAH per kilogram. However, not all retail chains are on board with these price increases. Meanwhile, imports of whole milk products in Ukraine are on the rise, with Poland currently holding a 70% share of these imports.
