Analysts at EastFruit project report a decrease in local greenhouse vegetable sales in Ukraine as the sales season ends, while the import of tomatoes continues to rise, leading to a 11% drop in prices for local greenhouse tomatoes in a week. The high price of imported tomatoes, which is 54% higher than last year on average, does not stop further price reductions, as wholesalers aim to prevent the buildup of unsold products in warehouses.
