With an accuracy rate of 93.8% in the 2024-2025 cycle, laboratories from the Embrapa Unit based in Aracaju, SE, once again received an 'A' grade in the evaluation of the Interlaboratory Program for Plant Tissue Analysis (PIATV), linked to the Soil Science Department of the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (Esalq/USP), in Piracicaba, SP. The overall result, released in January 2026, points to the Plant Nutrition and Animal Nutrition Laboratories of the research center in 11th place overall among 179 participants from Brazil and abroad, with a score higher than that of the 2023-2024 cycle, which reached 92%, demonstrating constant evolution, compared to the previous 85.2%. This new result, considered technically excellent, guarantees the laboratories the right to display the PIATV quality seal throughout the year 2026.
