Experts from the Institute of Cultivation, Fertilization and Soil Science have assessed that the weather conditions in the initial period of the corn growing season were unfavorable due to the cool May and soil moisture shortages. However, the situation improved after rainfall in June and July, leading to higher yields of approximately 7.5 t/ha. Despite drought conditions in certain regions, the warm and dry September should favor the ripening and harvesting of corn grown for silage.
