Poland experiences a downturn in apple exports to Western Europe due to an abundance and low prices of apples in the region, with the exception of a few markets. However, exports to the Middle and Far East have seen an increase, offsetting the decline. The decrease in exports to Western Europe is attributed to political reasons and the actions of fruit growers in Belgium and the Netherlands. Despite the drop in exports to Egypt and Belarus, there's a slight increase in exports to Spain and Britain. In distant markets like India, Vietnam, and the Middle East, the demand for Polish apples is on the rise, with Vietnam seeing a significant increase in imports. This trend is anticipated to have a notable impact on the domestic demand and prices of high-quality apples in Poland in the future.
