In the first quarter of 2021, Ukraine experienced a 39% decrease in condensed milk and cream exports, totaling 3.5 thousand tons, valued at $2.5 million, compared to the same period last year. The main export destinations were Moldova, Georgia, and Libya. However, overall imports of these products increased by 45.6% to 6.6 thousand tons, earning $15 million, with Malaysia, Israel, and Lebanon being the top buyers. Additionally, Lactalis Ingredients has introduced a heat-resistant milk powder for use in condensed milk production.
