NOP listings drop across the board this week. The decrease is slightly larger for white consumer eggs than for brown eggs. Furthermore, this week's listings show that heavier eggs drop in price more than lighter eggs. White free-range eggs in class 62-63 drop this week by 27 cents to 17.51 euros per 100 pieces. The listing for brown eggs drops by 25 cents and thus this week amounts to 18.54 euros. These price drops are less steep than a week earlier. Also, the listings are still well above last year's price level. The impact of the outbreaks of both the avian influenza virus and Newcastle Disease (NCD) in Poland and Germany is still noticeable.
