According to data from the regional Ministry of Agriculture, by September 10, agricultural organizations and peasant (farmer) farms in Mordovia had threshed 427.86 thousand hectares of grains and legumes. This represents 88.7% of the planned area. With an average yield of 38.3 tons per hectare, 1.62 million tons of grain were harvested. In addition to grain, rapeseed was harvested from 7.80 thousand hectares (53.6% of the plan) with an average yield of 20.6 tons per hectare, resulting in 16.03 thousand tons. From 8.85 thousand hectares (84.3%), 12.94 thousand tons of flax were obtained, with a yield of 14.6 tons per hectare. Soybeans yielded 2.19 thousand tons with a yield of 15.2 tons per hectare from an area of 1.44 thousand hectares (3.1%). Sugar beets were harvested from 1.82 thousand hectares (7.3%), with an average yield of 415.3 tons per hectare, resulting in 75.51 thousand tons.
