According to preliminary data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, in April 2025, Ukraine exported about 1.88 thousand tons of live cattle, which is 24% less compared to March 2025, but 164% more compared to April 2024. The monetary revenue from exported animals was $5.43 million, which is 9% more compared to March 2025 and 357% more compared to April 2024. In January-April 2025, Ukraine exported 7.09 thousand tons of live cattle (+120%) worth $15.96 million (+186%). In January-April 2025, Ukraine shipped 44.9 tons of chilled beef (-93%) worth $270,100 (-93%) to external markets compared to the previous year. The natural export volumes of frozen beef from Ukraine in April 2025 were 1.81 thousand tons, which is 20% more compared to March of the current year and 44% more compared to April 2024.
