(Agraria.pe) The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri) and the District Municipality of Pichari launched the I International Fair of Peruvian Excellence Cocoa (FICACAO 2025). The event, which aims to position the Valley of the Rivers Apurímac, Ene, and Mantaro (VRAEM) as a benchmark for excellence cocoa, will take place from December 10 to 13 next at the Fair Field of Pichari, in the Cusco region. The head of Midagri, Vladimir Cuno Salcedo, highlighted that this fair represents a milestone in the promotion of high-quality Peruvian cocoa, especially the renowned VRAEM 99 origin cocoa, highly valued in fine chocolatery worldwide. He also emphasized the relevance of cocoa for the country's development and the Government's commitment to this important sector.
