Peruvian fishery exports continue to show a solid performance in international markets. During the first quarter of 2026, the National Authority for Food Safety and Quality in Fisheries and Aquaculture (Sanipes), an entity attached to the Ministry of Production (PRODUCE), issued 7118 sanitary certificates for export purposes, allowing 194 national companies to place 597,201.91 metric tons of hydrobiological products abroad, for a value of US$ 1,214.8 million FOB.
