Strawberry harvesting in Florida started at the end of November, but the cool weather is causing slower production than usual. Despite this, the crop looks good, and a cooler winter is expected to help increase the size and quantity of the berries. There is currently more demand than supply for strawberries, with pricing ranging from mid-$20s to $27, and the peak of production is expected in the first week of January, with a second peak around February 15th.
