For 10 months, Kazakhstan almost doubled the export of flour and sunflower seeds

Despite the restrictions introduced this year, Kazakhstan has managed to significantly increase the export of flour, wheat and sunflower seeds. In particular, flour sales abroad increased by 89% compared to the same period in 2021, while wheat exports increased by 39%. This was reported by the QazTrade Trade Policy Development Center. According to the information, for 10 months flour was exported from Kazakhstan in the amount of 601.4 million dollars. In 2021, during the same period, it was sold abroad for $318.2 million. It is also noted that Kazakhstan sent wheat abroad for 1 billion 489.5 million dollars. In comparison with the last year period (1 billion 071.3 million dollars), exports increased by 39%. Exports of sunflower seeds increased by 92.3% (from $59.8 million to $115 million), flax seeds - by 75.1% (from $167.3 million to $292.9 million), barley — by 2.6% (from $149.7 million to $153.5 million), dried legume vegetables — by 79.8% (from $40.2 million to $72.3 million). ...
