The new vaccination campaign targets companies in the previously established vaccination zones in eastern and southwestern France. The government aims to ensure that the animals remain fully protected against the virus throughout 2026. On Corsica, the second vaccination campaign was officially concluded at the end of March. The vaccination is being rolled out in phases, taking into account the order in which areas were vaccinated in 2025. After vaccination, cattle are protected for approximately 15 months.
