The Official Journal of Galicia (DOG) has announced an order for aids for cattle, sheep, and goat farmers affected by mandatory slaughter due to disease eradication programs, valid for 2025. The aid includes complementary compensation and aid for replacing animals. These aids are designed for owners of these farms who have had their entire census slaughtered or destroyed preventively due to disease suspicions or confirmations. Additionally, owners can receive aid for purchasing replacement animals due to various disease-related reasons, including official vaccination programs. The aid amounts range from 50 to 500 euros per animal, with a 10% bonus possible. The application deadline is November 28, 2025.
