REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman affirms the availability of national food supplies under safe conditions despite the turbulent global geopolitical situation. He mentioned that the stocks of rice, animal protein, and fertilizers are at sufficient levels to meet domestic needs. Amran conveyed this after releasing exports of poultry products and derivatives to Singapore, Japan, and Timor Leste, on Tuesday (3/3/2026). He presented that the national rice stock continues to increase and is projected to reach the highest record in history. “Our food supplies are more than sufficient. Remember, the core food is for Indonesia, carbohydrates, and rice,” said the Minister of Agriculture. He detailed that the current rice stock in warehouses reaches 3.67 million tons and is expected to touch 3.7 million tons in the near future.
