The report highlights a decrease in global wheat gluten production by 2.4% to 1.1M tonnes, with France, China, and Belgium being the leading producers. Despite the production drop, wheat gluten exports increased by 6% to 928K tonnes, with Germany, Belgium, and France as the top exporters. However, the average export price fell by 9% to $1,423 per tonne. The UK and Poland experienced the highest export growth, while the Netherlands, Belgium, and France saw the most significant drop in supplies. The highest per capita consumption was observed in Norway, Belgium, France, and the Netherlands, with the world average being 0.15 kg per person.
