Grain exporters and their derivatives are expecting that in just a few more days the final documents will be available to bid for the Paraná-Paraguay Waterway, which have already started their "Preliminary Observations Process" in accordance with the provisions of the National Ports and Navigation Agency (ANPyN). Once this stage is completed, the agency will proceed with the call for the new National and International Public Tender, "at enterprise risk and without state guarantee". This will involve a new privatization of the service and an increase in the river's draft, which will help ships leave the ports of Rosario fully loaded and not half-loaded as currently happens. The president of CIARA-CEC, Gustavo Idígoras, confirmed that if the pending steps are met, "the document will be published before the end of the year".
