Despite the recent southward migration of fish stocks, the catch performance remains strong, with the average weight of individual squid exceeding 12 kilograms. In the central and southern regions of Peru, the average price of squid has decreased by 8.6% to 9.7% compared to the previous period, currently ranging between 2,800 to 3,200 soles per ton (approximately 5,852 to 6,688 yuan per ton). In the north, due to higher operational costs, prices are maintained at 3,500 soles per ton (approximately 7,315 yuan per ton).
