Corn (26,150 hectares) and sunflower (11,650 hectares) are expected to be sown in the first days of April, depending on soil temperature, the county president of NAK said. He added that if the lack of rainfall persists, they will choose late spring crops instead of spring cereals: soybeans or sunflowers will be sown instead of corn. Spring soil preparation and sowing is done by many with a direct seed drill: the seed can get into the ground without soil preparation.
