Gia Lam district has seen a positive change in its agricultural production areas from 2016 to 2020, converting over 2,880ha of land into specialized agricultural zones. The district has implemented 120 training courses and deployed 41 pilot models to improve production techniques and economic value. The average agricultural and fishery production per hectare in 2019 was 309.22 million VND, a significant increase from 2016. The district has also focused on advanced animal husbandry techniques and is the main supplier of fresh milk to Vinamilk's dairy factories. Gia Lam district has been recognized as a new rural standard by Hanoi City in 2018 and plans to continue investing in biotechnology application projects in agriculture, healthcare, and environmental protection.
