Hazelnut exports from Azerbaijan to Italy, volume down, price per ton up

This year, Azerbaijan sells peeled hazelnuts to Italy at a price 26% higher than a year earlier, but sales volumes have fallen, EastFruit reports. In the first 10 months of 2024, Azerbaijan exported peeled hazelnuts in a total volume of 1,378 tons. The export value amounted to $10.03 million, Abc.az reports. According to the country's State Statistics Committee, the volume of nut exports to Italy decreased by 37% compared to last year, and in value terms, the decrease was 21%.
