The hazelnut market continues to be stagnant in the free market. In the free market in Ordu, the price of hazelnuts with 50 yields remains unchanged today, trading between 44 and 44.50 TL. Turkish Grain Board will close the appointment system for hazelnuts on 30 November. TMO will end its hazelnut purchase as of 31 December. TMO has so far purchased 150 thousand in-shell hazelnuts from more than 50 purchasing centers. Hazelnut producers are already wondering what will happen to the market when Toprak Mahsulleri stops buying hazelnuts.
