Norwegian seafood exports have reached record highs, with November seeing a value of NOK 17.3 billion, driven by increased prices and volumes, particularly for salmon, mackerel, cod, haddock, and herring. Despite challenges like quota cuts and rising costs, the EU remains the largest market, with notable growth in exports to China and the USA. Salmon exports to Germany and prawn exports to China have surged, while king crab exports face declines due to quota cuts. Italy and Croatia have seen significant growth in stockfish exports, and herring exports to Egypt have set new records. Overall, Norway is on track to surpass last year's export record of NOK 172 billion.
