Fruits from Chile and the Kiwi Committee participate in a major event for the global industry

The president of Frutas de Chile, Iván Marambio, and the president of the Kiwi Committee of Chile, Carlos Cruzat, arrived in Arta, Greece, to participate in the 43rd Convention of the International Kiwifruit Organization (IKO), which takes place from September 23 to 25 and brings together the main kiwi producing countries in the world. In this regard, the president of Frutas de Chile, Iván Marambio, indicated from Greece, that “the IKO is an organization that once a year brings together the main countries that produce kiwis in the world, with the objective of exchanging information about what is happening with this super fruit in each country and market. The IKO allows us to learn about the strategies, the volumes that each country is producing and exporting, and what is happening in the world of kiwi in many areas such as consumption trends, plantations, new varieties, international regulations and general cooperation.
