China's soybean imports from Brazil decreased by 16% in April compared to the previous year, importing 5.3 million tons compared to 6.3 million tons, due to harvest delays and increased inspections. This has resulted in a 28% decrease in year-to-date imports from Brazil. However, US soybean imports have increased by 11%. Corn imports from the US also increased, but overall corn imports in April decreased by 55% compared to the previous year. Ukraine was the main supplier of China's total corn imports in April.
