From January to August 2022, Ukraine experienced a significant decrease in margarine exports by 49.7%, totaling 16,100 tons, valued at $34.5 million, marking a 27.5% decrease in revenue compared to the same period in 2021. The primary markets for these exports included Moldova, Romania, and Kazakhstan, accounting for 22.6%, 11.2%, and 11% of the total exports, respectively. Conversely, the country saw a positive growth in domestic butter exports by 21.9% during the same period.
