According to Rosstat, in the first two months of 2026, enterprises in Vologda increased cheese production by 55.2% compared to the previous year, reaching 770.8 tons. The region accounted for 17.9% of the total production volume of this product in the Northwestern Federal District, calculated by the Vologda branch of the "Center for Agroanalysis". This is 5.0 percentage points more than a year ago.
