At the FG "Annushka" in Mykolaiv region, they carefully account not only for expenses but also for every millimeter of moisture. The farm receives about 350 mm of precipitation annually. This season, the main rains fell in May and early summer, so the yield was formed almost entirely on winter moisture reserves. This was told by the farm manager Maxim Maximenko as part of the AgroExpedition 2025. Due to the lack of moisture, the crop rotation had to be revised. Corn was left, but the areas were reduced. Soybean and rapeseed cultivation has been stopped for now. "Soybeans went out of the economy: expensive seed material, risks, unstable yield. We had one ton, but it was risky. We are refusing it. Rapeseed is also complicated — germination, overwintering, a lot of nerves. We sowed up to a thousand hectares, got up to 3 t/ha, but decided to temporarily remove it from the crop rotation," explained the farmer.
