In Omsk Oblast, the production of pigs for slaughter increased by 1.4%

According to Omskstat, in the first two quarters of 2025, farms of all categories in the Omsk region produced 36.8 thousand tons of slaughter pigs (live weight). This is 1.4% more than in the same period of 2024 (36.3 thousand tons). Overall, the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter (live weight) in farms of all categories in the region amounted to 85.4 thousand tons, which is 4.5% more than a year earlier. Slaughter cattle (live weight) produced 18.9 thousand tons, poultry - 26.4 thousand tons, or 49.5% more (17.6 thousand tons last year).
