The production of buckwheat and oatmeal in Russia has increased by 6.8% and 19.9% respectively over the past seven months. The country's existing processing capacities can meet the domestic demand for these products. As a result of the increase in production, selling prices for cereals have decreased. The harvest of buckwheat has almost doubled compared to last year, and the rice harvest is also expected to increase. The leading regions for these crops include the Altai Territory, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Kursk, Voronezh, Oryol, the Krasnodar Territory, and the Republic of Dagestan.
