/TASS/. A national system for collecting agro-technological data is necessary in Russia for the active implementation of AI technologies in the agricultural sector. Work on this is already underway, TASS was informed by the head of the Kurchatov Genome Center of the Research Institute "Kurchatov Institute," Maxim Patrushev. "We are currently actively trying to integrate artificial intelligence. <...> What limits us, as in any industry, is the datasets, the set of data. Today, the relevant areas where we are integrating artificial intelligence are breeding in animal husbandry. Because we have accumulated a sufficiently large amount of good data there, particularly in pig farming. <...> And in principle, it [AI] can be integrated into almost any direction, the main thing is to collect data.
