The Segura Hydrographic Confederation (CHS) has begun emergency work to rebuild the damaged embankment and channel between kilometer point 33+150 of the Right Bank Canal, in the municipal term of Pulpí (Almería). The budget is 1.7 million euros financed with own funds of the Segura Hydrographic Confederation. The stretch suffered a serious collapse that caused the complete rupture of the concrete panels and the subsidence of the service road, leaving the infrastructure out of operation. The intervention has been declared an emergency, given the risk posed by the instability of the ground and the need to restore the transport of flows as soon as possible, which serve both supply and irrigation demands.
