According to statistics from the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA), Brazil exported a total of 151.6 thousand tons of pork in September, the highest monthly export volume in the industry's history, a 25.9% increase from the 120.4 thousand tons exported in the same period last year. Export revenue also reached a new high in September, amounting to $368.4 million, a 29.9% increase from the same period last year. With the strong performance in September, pork exports from January to September increased by 13.2% compared to the same period last year, totaling 112.1 million tons, compared to 99.07 million tons last year.
