Between May 1 and May 31, 2021, the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Kaliningrad Region monitored the import of over 5.28 thousand tons of fish and seafood into Russia from various countries. The imports included over 3970 tons of frozen fish, mainly from India, Morocco, and Thailand. Other imports included shrimp from countries like Ecuador, Vietnam, and Argentina, mussels from Chile and New Zealand, and octopus from China. After border veterinary control, these products were permitted for import into Russia.
