This was stated in a presentation by Roman Nekrasov, Director of the Department of Plant Growing, Mechanization, Chemicalization, and Plant Protection of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, presented at the Caucasian Investment Forum. "Dynamics of crop production development in the North Caucasus regions: <...> rice — 123,000 tons in 2020, <...> 172,900 tons in 2024, 323,900 tons in 2030," the presentation states.
