In the Saratov region, 401.5 hectares of perennial plantings were established in 2025.

The area of perennial fruit plantations in farms of all categories in the region is 9.8 thousand hectares. According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Saratov region, in 2025, the farmers of the region planted 401.5 hectares of perennial plantations, including 364.1 hectares of intensive-type orchards. In 2026, it is planned to plant at least 300 hectares of perennial plantations, including 65 hectares of fruit nurseries. The area of perennial fruit plantations in farms of all categories in the region is 9.8 thousand hectares, including those in bearing age - 6.8 thousand hectares (69%). In the structure of perennial plantations, seed crops occupy 6.9 thousand hectares, stone fruits - 1.3 thousand hectares, berry bushes - 1.6 thousand hectares. The main areas are located in the Rtishchevsky, Kvalynsky, Petrovsky, Volsky, Engelssky districts, as well as in Saratov (Gagarinskoye Municipal District).
