The campaign, which concluded with a cooking event in Munich, was successful in increasing consumer awareness about the benefits and quality of European olive oils, despite a 24% reduction in total imports and a 100% price increase over three years. Spain saw a significant increase in its market share, with one in three oils consumed in the German market being Spanish. The campaign also highlighted the unique characteristics of various extra virgin olive oils and their versatility in cooking.
